November 4 (7:55-8:10am in MPR) - 2nd Student Meeting - please make sure students attend this meeting before school for additional details about the upcoming trip and a chance for them to ask questions. Bus riders - we will wait until you arrive to start the meeting.
November 7 – Student Medications must be dropped off at the school nurse’s office (EGJH). Any prescription medications must be in a clear ziplock bag, in original containers with students full name and any instructions.
November 11 @ 9:30 pm - Drop student off at EGJH. Please park in the parking lot and walk over to the drop off area.
Trip dates: 9:30pm on Tuesday November 11, 2025 - 4:30am on Saturday November 15, 2025.
The Emily Gray Science Team is excited to continue the long standing tradition of educational excellence by offering a “once-in-a-lifetime” experience for 7th graders at the Catalina Island Marine Institute (CIMI). This year’s trip will take place from Tuesday, November 11 to Saturday, November 15, 2025 at Fox Landing on Catalina Island, 26 miles off the coast of Los Angeles. This trip will introduce students to marine biology and oceanography as they participate in labs and activities involving marine plants and animals, island ecology, snorkeling, ocean kayaking and geology.
