Our yearly open house will begin Tonight in the MPR at 5:30
It will start with a brief overview from the EGJH Administrative Team and PTSG. Then families will be able to visit all of their children’s schedules with four minute passing periods. Please note that you will not visit 8th period Academic Enrichment. If you cannot make the kick-off meeting, you can go directly to visit the classrooms at 5:30 p.m. This is an exciting time in your child’s life as they navigate through their Jr. High experience. This is a great opportunity to meet your child’s teachers and start building relationships and community right away! We want to work with you so we can maximize the experience your child has on our campus.

Lost and Found Announcement:
Due to a large number of items, all unclaimed Lost and Found items will be donated this Friday. Parents and students are encouraged to check the Lost and Found for any missing belongings before then. Starting this month, donations will occur on the last Friday of each month.
For easy access, the Lost and Found will be placed outside the office entrance daily. Students can view items before school, after school, and during lunch.
Please take a moment to look through the Lost and Found this week!

EGJH Football Practice is canceled today due to a heat advisory (8/22)
A special message to all fans of D&D. On Friday, August 22nd Dungeons and Dragons Club will begin after school in the art room (306).
If your student is interested in joining D&D club please have your student email Ms. Marrano, at amarrano@tanq.org so that she has an accurate list of who will be attending.
D&D is a free club that meets every Friday that school is in session except during school dances.
The meeting time is from 3:20 to 4:30.
All club members are asked to bring non-perishable snacks once per quarter.

After School Clay Class will begin in the art room on Tuesday, August 19th. Students need to be enrolled in this class by a parent or guardian to participate. To enroll please go to the Emily Gray webpage, click on extra curriculars, then click on after school classes to find Creating Functional Art with Clay. Register as soon as possible because seats are limited and registration is open through August 22nd.
