Additional Financial Assistance

Dear Eighth Grade Families,

We are happy to announce that we are ready to start the registration process with you! Our 8th-grade trip to Washington D.C. and New York City, scheduled for April 27 - May 4, 2024!

 

We recently returned from one of our best trips ever, with 194 students and parents! The experience covers the width and breadth of American History as well as the Civics experience students will be engaging in next year. It will also include some incredible cultural opportunities to complement the experience that will make this a once-in-a-lifetime whirlwind. This all-inclusive program incorporates the highest quality of hotels, restaurants, and venue experiences. That means that all expenses are included in the tour price of $2979, including airfare, hotels, all meals, all admissions/tickets, buses, tour guides, private security, insurance, etc. WorldStrides will show a price of an additional $175 after June 30th and will be taken off manually until December 15th.

How can I pay? There are multiple options for payment for this year's trip. You can pay in full, you can join monthly payment plans, WorldStrides also offers ideas on how students can fundraise for their trip! Additionally, WorldStrides also offers a FLAG scholarship to students who qualify. We want all students to be able to join us on this journey so please don't hesitate to reach out to Mrs. Baechler or Ms. Hamilton for additional options. 

 

Financial Assistance through WorldStrides:

  • Over $2.5 million in financial assistance is given out each year

  • Families with annual adjusted gross incomes of up to $85,000 may qualify

  • One simple 5-10 minute phone call to WorldStrides Customer Service (800-468-5899) can tell you how much assistance may be available even before registering for the trip.  (FLAG Financial Assistance is available on a first-come, first-serve basis.)
